Employer - Sydney Seaplane Position : Full Time Location : Rose Bay, NSW
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000 a year Sydney Seaplanes has become an iconic feature of Sydney Harbour as they fly above some of the world’s most awe inspiring views. All scenic flights depart from the historic terminal and museum in Rose Bay with daily fly/dine packages to the culinary delights of such waterfront restaurants as the Cottage Point Inn, Peats Bite or Jonah’s at Whale Beach.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and proactively manage the operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts including front of house and back of house.
- Coordination of bookings (including functions and events)
- Generate customer satisfaction by responding appropriately to customer concerns.
- Appropriately handle any customer conflicts or issues that may arise.
- Train recent employees and provide ongoing training.
- Stock purchasing and control.
- Support management to achieve targets/goals and maintain budgets and minimum stocks.
- Ensuring safety, sanitation, and security procedures.
- Develop and implement restaurant policies.
Skills and Experience
- Cert III in Hospitality or other relevant Management qualification
- At least two years of relevant experience
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of OH&S; requirements and instruction and carry out OHS requirements and 'lead by example’.
