ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of the Senior Sous Chef is to support the Head Chef in leading Pub kitchen team.

Support planning menus, estimating food/labour costs, and ordering food supplies

Lead service, ensuring consistency and high-quality food standards

Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

Working as an integral part of a close-knit management team

Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

Uphold and maintain our food hygiene safety standards

Mentor Kitchen team members and contribution to training and development of staff

Lead,



collaborate and foster quality relationships between the kitchen and front of house teams

ABOUT YOU

As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:

Minimum 3 years Sous Chef experience in a high-volume venue

Committed to the best standards of food preparation and service

Experience with seasonal fresh cook to order menu

Knowledge and experience of kitchen food safety systems

Can work under pressure and is an excellent team player

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Relevant skills for stocktaking and cost control
