Role Mission

As a Field Service Engineer based in Brisbane, your mission will be to provide high-quality on-site technical support, maintenance, and repair services for our specialized laboratory and medical instrumentation across Queensland and interstate territories. You will serve as the primary customer-facing technical expert, ensuring equipment reliability and maximizing customer satisfaction within hospitals and laboratories.

What your responsibilities will be

- You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on major diagnostic equipment, including the Grifols Panther, Xpress, Erytra, and Eflexis platforms.
- You will maintain a strong customer-facing presence, visiting client sites approximately 4 times a week to ensure high instrument uptime and address technical issues promptly.
- You will manage your service territory (primarily Queensland with occasional interstate travel to New South Wales), balancing regular travel requirements with efficient service delivery.
- You will collaborate closely with your Supervisor and the broader service team to share technical insights,



coordinate scheduling, and maintain high standards of teamwork.
- You will document all service activities, maintenance reports, and technical interventions accurately in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory standards.

Who you are

- Experience & Skills: Prior experience as a Field Service Engineer, ideally within a medical, hospital, or laboratory environment. A robust technical passion for instruments and servicing complex machinery.
- Mindset: Highly energetic, enthusiastic, eager to learn, and a dedicated team player with excellent customer-facing communication skills.
- Education & Qualifications: A degree or background in Electrical Engineering (or a Master's degree) is highly regarded but not mandatory. A valid Australian driver’s license and the flexibility to travel across assigned territories are required.
