We're looking for an experienced Vinyl Floor Layer to join our team. This is not an apprentice or labouring position—we're seeking someone who can confidently work independently and consistently produce high-quality finishes.
About the Role
You’ll be installing a variety of resilient flooring products across commercial and residential projects, including:
- Commercial and residential sheet vinyl
- Welded sheet vinyl
- Cove skirting
- Vinyl planks
- Safety flooring
- Rubber flooring
- Floor preparation including grinding, patching and self-levelling
- Trims and finishing details
You’ll be expected to read plans,
work efficiently, maintain a clean worksite, and deliver work you’re proud to put your name to.
What We're Looking For
- Has extensive experience installing sheet vinyl and vinyl plank flooring
- Valid references available
- Is highly experienced with heat welding and coved skirting
- Can complete jobs independently with minimal supervision
- Takes pride in producing quality workmanship
- Is reliable, punctual and skilled
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Can problem-solve on site
- Works well within a team and communicates effectively
- Holds a current White Card
- Holds a current driver's licence (essential)
