The Role

- Undertakes fixed asset accounting activities, including journals, reconciliations, capitalisation, disposals, depreciation, revaluations, stocktakes, and asset register maintenance.
- Processes and reconciles monthly balance sheet accounts, including ROU assets and liabilities, accounts payable, accruals, provisions, and prepayments.
- Supervises the processing and reconciliation of credit card accounts.
- Assists with Accounts Payable, RCTI and credit card queries, including payment runs.
- Assists with preparation of the annual FBT return.
- Assists with preparation of annual financial statements and provision of information for internal and external audits.
- Assists with ongoing reporting requirements and annual declarations for internal and external purposes.




- Identifies and implements best-practice financial management and accounting processes, particularly relating to fixed assets.
- Maintains effective communication and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Licenses

- Possession of a tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.
- Membership or eligibility for membership of Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and Current Zealand or other recognised professional accounting body would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in excel, with power query and power BI experience would be an advantage.
