Barefoot Floors has a vacancy for a person to join their team at to service Hervey Bay and the surrounding areas to undergo training to become a Tile Injection Specialist
Permanent Part time position, minimum 3 days per week, with the opportunity for more days once fully trained

Who we are looking for
We require a motivated, physically fit, and well organized person. Age is not a barrier to the successful applicant and non-smokers are highly regarded. Solid communication skills are essential
We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities: All training will be provided
- Measuring and quoting new work
- Communicating with customers, managing a schedule and communicating with Barefoot Floors through our dedicated CRM and via regular phone catchups
- On-site record keeping and post- completion reporting
- Site Preparation & Clean‑up
- Injection of drummy tiles using our unique injection system including adhesive preparation
- Cleaning and regular checking of equipment during and after use
- Lifting & replacing damaged/cracked tiles with replacement tiles
- Re‑grouting & re‑sealing work
- Purchasing & tracking materials required for each job
Pre‑requisites:
- Polite, punctual and friendly.
We have built a strong reputation Australia wide for our great customer service and it is vital that you are a good representative for our business
- You are a great communicator and proficient with the use of an Apple iphone and a Laptop
- Tile Injection involves working closely with head office and the customer to deliver excellent Customer service, in a timely and efficient manner
- Possess a teachable attitude, have excellent people skills and be friendly and communicative
- Our expectations are that our Employees are neat and tidy and present in a professional manner, wear appropriate work clothing and footwear and use appropriate language at all times
- Have an impeccable driving record
- Possess no criminal record
- Prior to commencement we require that you Sign a “Non‑disclosure Deed”, stating that you will protect our Intellectual property by not disclosing any of our processes for ‘Tile Injection’ or our product to any other party
Other Notes
- You will undergo a 3 month probationary period at the commencement of your employment
- Barefoot Floors branded clothing will be provided
- A company branded vehicle will be provided for all work and quoting use.
Experience & requirements
It is not essential to have a trade background, however as we are working with floor tiles, this role will suit someone who has good practical skills and is physically fit. A common knowledge of Workplace health and safety practices and general ‘common sense’ on a work site is expected. Experience in construction is not a pre‑requisite but preferred.
