We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Practice Nurse to join the Styation road medical hub team in Logan Central, QLD. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst maintaining the high standards of patient care we are known for. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our General Practitioners and delivering quality healthcare services to our diverse patient population. This position is essential to the smooth operation of our practice and directly contributes to improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting General Practitioners during consultations and procedures
- Taking and recording patient vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and weight
- Administering vaccinations and immunisations as per clinical protocols
- Performing routine wound care, dressings, and minor procedures
- Providing health education and lifestyle advice to patients
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
- Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment and ensuring infection control standards are met
- Supporting the practice with administrative tasks as required
- Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to ensure continuity of patient care

What we're looking for

- A current nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in general practice or primary healthcare
- Solid clinical skills and knowledge of common general practice procedures




- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse patient populations
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards and codes of conduct
- A caring, patient-centred approach to healthcare delivery
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
- Preferred experience in immunisation, chronic disease management, or health screening
