Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Import Operator to join the Melbourne team based in Tullamarine

Working within a friendly and professional environment, you will be responsible for coordinating import shipments from origin through to delivery, ensuring a seamless experience for customers while maintaining high service standards

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate end-to-end import sea and/or airfreight shipments.
- Liaise daily with overseas agents, shipping lines, transport providers and customers
- Prepare and process import documentation for customs clearance.
- Raise accurate invoices for all services provided.




- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any operational issues.
- Maintain accurate shipment records using CargoWise 1
- Deliver outstanding customer service while meeting deadlines in a quick-paced environment

Qualifications and Experience:

- Previous experience in an Import Operations role within freight forwarding
- Strong working knowledge of CargoWise 1
- Excellent understanding of import documentation and customs processes
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
