We are seeking an experienced female Disability Support Worker, (Enrolled Nurse qualification desirable but not necessary) to provide 1:1 in-home support and community access support to a mature aged participant across Logan and Forest Lakes area. This is primarily a disability support role with participant-specific caring/nursing responsibilities.

The primary focus of this role is Disability Support:

- Assist with medication administration and management
- Monitoring participants health conditions and promote healthy lifestyle choices
- Assist with personal care, daily living activities, community access, household tasks
- Capacity-building supports that promote choice, inclusion and wellbeing
- Empowering the participant to support them achieve their individual goals.

This position is open to female applicants only. The requirement for female support workers is a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (QLD) due to the nature of supports provided and the

- Experience with aged care including high care is desirable.
- Qualification and current APHRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (EN) preferred but not essential/ Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
- Ability to complete accurate and timely documentation including progress notes, medication records and other participant related documentation.




- Demonstrated experience providing person-center support to people with disabilities a within an in-home setting/community setting.
- Current NDIS Working Screening Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Availability to work a combination of weekdays, weekends, sleepovers (inactive 10pm-6am) and public holidays.
- Current rights to work in Australia
