About the role

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution centre. You will contribute directly to our operations, helping to ensure that goods are stored, organised, and shipped in a timely and professional manner. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth flow of inventory and meeting our customer service commitments.

What you’ll be doing

- Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods and stock items to verify accuracy and condition
- Organising and storing items in designated warehouse locations following established procedures and safety protocols
- Picking and packing orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Labeling packages and maintaining accurate inventory records using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
- Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, trolleys and other handling tools safely and effectively
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards




- Assisting with stocktaking and inventory management activities as requiredSupporting team members and contributing to a positive workplace culture

What we’re looking for

- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre, or similar logistics environment is desirable
- Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving items regularly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when checking, counting and recording inventory
- Ability to work efficiently and meet productivity targets whilst maintaining quality standards
- Positive communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to workplace health and safety procedures
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills, with familiarity with warehouse management systems or computer systems being advantageous
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong commitment to attendance
- A valid forklift certification is preferred; candidates without current certification but with demonstrated forklift experience will be provided company-sponsored training and certification within 6 weeks of starting.
