Brisbane Autocare Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Motor Mechanic to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician who is passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Providing expert advice on the mechanical condition of vehicles.
- Diagnosing faults and ensuring the correct operation of vehicles covered under dealer warranty, including dismantling, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty components.
- Repairing and servicing vehicle mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and braking systems.
- Reporting all service, repair, and maintenance work to the Service Manager using the company's reporting systems.
- Ordering parts required for warranty and repair work.
- Providing guidance, support, and on-the-job training to apprentice technicians.
- Maintaining current knowledge of mechanical technologies, manufacturer updates, and industry best practices.




- Ensuring a safe workplace by using tools and specialised equipment correctly and following all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Promoting and monitoring safe work practices among apprentice staff.
- Conducting road tests and final quality inspections before vehicles are returned to customers.
- Delivering a high standard of customer service.
- Demonstrating behaviours that align with company policies and values.
- Contributing positively to a collaborative and professional team environment.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar Motor Mechanic position.
- A relevant qualification, such as AQF Certificate III or Certificate IV in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to workplace safety and delivering quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
