Yumbar Byron Bay is seeking an Assistant Sales representative to join our dynamic team Part Time 21 -28Hr's PW. This role is based in the Byron Food Huband offers an excellent opportunity to an experienced client salesperson with knowledge of the industry within a vibrant manufacturing health food service environment. As a Sales representee, you will play a key part in supporting our retailers and on boarding new stores to our sales operations, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth administrative processes that directly contribute to our business growth and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing

- Liaising with retailers and processing and sales orders in a timely and professional manner
- Creating and following leads for new retailers. Must be confident capturing them as a stockist
- Maintaining accurate records of sales transactions, customer information, and documentation
- Supporting the management team with sales tasks including correspondence, and follow-up communications, and marketing and social media
- Coordinating with clients to confirm orders, delivery details, and resolve any issues or concerns
- Providing exceptional customer service and support to both internal stakeholders and external clients
- Contributing to the overall efficiency of the sales and administrative operations team

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience in sales, with a strong and friendly phone presence
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and courteous manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)



and experience with sales platforms
- Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in relation to order management and communications
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team-oriented team
- Strong customer service orientation and a genuine interest in meeting sales objectives
- Previous experience in with health food retailers would be advantageous
- Experience with the utilisation of social media platforms for marketing purposes
