Project Manager – DMS Migration & Systems Transformation (Contract)

Location: Liverpool, Sydney NSW (5 days per week in office with some flex)

Duration: Initial 3-month contract, with robust extension and permanent potential

Rate: $800–$850/day + GST

Reports to: Head of Projects & Transformation

The Role

Lead the client-side delivery of a Dealer Management System (DMS) migration across our client's dealership network, replacing the legacy Auto-IT Units platform with Pentana DMS. The implementation vendor owns technical delivery; you will own governance, business readiness, stakeholder management and cutover coordination. This project is the foundation for a broader transformation roadmap covering CRM, AI-enabled customer engagement, ERP modernisation and M&A; integration, with strong potential to extend into a permanent transformation leadership role.

Essential Experience

- Proven experience leading ERP, DMS or enterprise systems implementations
- Strong stakeholder management across business and technology teams
- Vendor management experience




- Experience managing system and data migration projects
- Excellent workshop facilitation and decision-making skills
- Ability to establish governance where formal PMO structures are limited
- Strong project planning, reporting and risk management capability

Highly Regarded

- Automotive retail or dealership experience
- Experience with Dealer Management Systems (DMS), Pentana or Auto-IT Units
- ERP implementation, business process mapping or BA capability
- Experience integrating acquired businesses or M&A; projects
