Minto Mitre 10 is seeking a full time Retail Sales Assistant to join our friendly team at our store in Minto, NSW. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations of our hardware store.
What you'll be doing
Assisting customers with product selection, providing knowledgeable advice, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Stocking shelves, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring products are available and easily accessible
Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, cards, and returns
Actively contributing to the team's efforts to achieve sales targets and KPIs
Participating in inventory management and stock control tasks as required
Demonstrating a commitment to safety and following all company policies and procedures
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the hardware or home improvement industry
Strong phone, face to face communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service
A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and the willingness to learn and adapt
An understanding of product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about our product range
A commitment to safety and following all company policies and procedures
Able to lift 20kg
