Job Description

Roof Plumber – Marrickville NSW Kogan People Solutions is partnering with a well-established roofing specialist operating across Sydney’s Inner West. They pride themselves on their top-tier craftsmanship, use of premium materials, and delivering high-quality residential restorations, heritage terrace repairs, and comprehensive metal roof replacements. As they grow, we are working with them to appoint a skilled and experienced Roof Plumber to join their team.

Location: Marrickville, NSW Salary - $80,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation per annum Tenure: Full-time and Ongoing. Key Duties & Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and replace metal roofing systems, including Colorbond, Zincalume, and traditional bullnose iron profiles.
- Fabricate, install, and repair rainwater components including downpipes, fascia covers, gutters, and complex box guttering systems.
- Accurately diagnose structural roof leaks and replace weathered flashings, valleys, and ridge capping to ensure waterproofing integrity.
- Read, layout, and interpret technical blueprints,



structural drawings, and architectural specifications.
- Erect and work safely using scaffolding, roof safety mesh, and edge protection, maintaining strict adherence to Safe

Work Method Statements (SWMS) for working at heights.

Required Skills, Qualifications, & Experience:

- Possession of a highly relevant Certificate III together with at least two years of relevant post-qualification employment; or a Certificate IV (or agreed equivalent).
- A minimum of 1 year of highly relevant post training paid employment
- Hold or be able to attain current White Card and

Working at Heights Certification.

- Must hold, or be eligible to hold, a NSW Roof Plumbing Licence or Qualified Supervisor Certificate.
- Unrestricted Drivers Licence
- Robust communication skills, structural problem-solving abilities, reliability, and an exceptional eye for detail.
