SPAR Australia is looking for a dynamic and driven Category Assistant to join their growing company
SPAR Australia - is a prominent supermarket distributor within the retail / FMCG industry located in Acacia Ridge. SPAR supplies grocery products, marketing and retail support services to approximately 300 independent retail supermarkets including the SPAR and 5 STAR banner groups located in Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory and Pacific Island areas and is one of only two major suppliers to independent supermarket operators on the Eastern Seaboard of Australia. SPAR operates a large distribution centre of some 13,400sqm from premises located at Acacia Ridge on the southern side of Brisbane which carries approximately 7,500 dry grocery lines with a further 1,500 frozen/chilled product lines. The Distribution Centre is technology enabled, utilising the latest ERP computer platform linked via warehouse management systems and RF technology.

Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Excellence: Utilise your solid background in administration and high-volume data entry to maintain precise product details.
- Navision – Very beneficial experience to have (or very similar to Navision)
- Attention to Detail: Ensure every task is executed with meticulous attention to detail.
- Analytical Skills: Interpret data and draw valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
- Organisational Prowess: Manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
- Excel Proficiency: Leverage your advanced Excel skills for data maintenance and analysis.
- Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

- Inventory Management: Familiarity with inventory management processes and accurate record updates.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Retail/FMCG Experience: Background in Retail, P&C;, FMCG, Pharmacy, or similar fields.
- Navision preferred
- Administration Skills: Strong administrative skills to handle high-volume data entry.
- MS Office Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
