We are seeking an experienced Open Pit Mine Surveyor to join our Technical Services team at Wilpinjong Mine. Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting mining operations through the delivery of accurate survey data, pit set-outs, stockpile surveys and drone-based aerial mapping projects. Your key responsibilities:

- Conduct daily survey pickups and set-outs to support safe and efficient mining operations.
- Generate accurate as-built models, volume calculations and reporting using Vulcan software.
- Operate Trimble GPS equipment and conduct UAV drone surveys to collect and process spatial data.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams on mine design, planning and infrastructure projects.
- Maintain survey control systems, data integrity and survey data management processes.
- Complete machine guidance calibration, validation and operational checks.

About you:

- Degree or Diploma in Surveying.
- Proven experience working as a Mine Surveyor within an open-cut mining environment.
- Experience using Trimble GPS equipment and Vulcan software.
- Exposure to PointStudio, drone survey and data processing software will be highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data quality.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
