About the Role

Anico Projects is looking for a motivated and reliable 1st or 2nd Year Carpentry Apprentice to join our growing team.

Immediate start available for the right applicant.

Based in Hornsby Shire, we deliver residential and commercial construction projects across Sydney, giving you the opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of building work. You'll work alongside experienced carpenters while developing your skills in framing, structural carpentry, cladding, fit-outs, finishing carpentry and general construction.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist qualified carpenters on residential and commercial construction projects across Sydney.
- Learn and develop skills in framing, fixing, cladding, fit-outs and finishing carpentry.
- Measure, cut, assemble and install timber and other building materials.
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite.
- Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools.
- Work collaboratively as part of a professional team.
- Complete all TAFE and apprenticeship requirements.

The ideal applicant will have:

- Currently undertaking, or willing to commence, a 1st or 2nd Year Carpentry Apprenticeship.
- A current driver's licence and their own reliable vehicle (essential).
- A White Card (essential).
- A strong work ethic and a genuine willingness to learn.




- The ability to work hard, stay motivated and maintain a positive attitude through physically and mentally demanding work.
- Pride in producing quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Excellent spoken English and strong communication skills.
- A professional presentation and attitude, with the ability to represent Anico Projects to the highest standard when interacting with clients, builders and other trades.
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work well within a team.
- Good physical fitness and a willingness to get stuck in.
