We are seeking a Concrete Cutting Laborer to join our team at Dondarra Concrete Cutting & Drilling, experience is ideal but not essential.This is a casual position to start with, to be full time for the right person, based in North Rockhampton, QLD 4701. Training will be provided to the right person. As a Concrete Cutter/Laborer, you will be utilising specialist equipment and techniques to cut and drill concrete in various types of jobs. This position is in our small family based business.

Key responsibilities

Operate concrete cutting equipment, including saws, grinders, and other specialised machinery.

Set up and clean up job sites, including running out hoses etc.

Cut concrete structures, pavements, and surfaces to required dimensions and specifications.

Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order and conduct regular safety checks

Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures and regulations.

Work collaboratively with other team members and follow site instructions.

Keep work areas clean and organised, removing debris and waste materials.

Ensure all work meets quality standards and project timelines

What we're looking for

Proven experience working as a Concrete Cutter or in a similar concrete works role, preferred but not essential

Competency in operating concrete cutting equipment and machinery

Knowledge of concrete cutting techniques and best practices

Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.





Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Reliability and a strong work ethic
