Edsring Property Maintenance is a leading commercial facilities maintenance company providing maintenance services across healthcare, commercial, government and corporate facilities.
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our team in a permanent full-time role.
About the Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for delivering both preventative and reactive plumbing maintenance across a live hospital setting, ensuring minimal disruption to critical clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out proactive building inspections to identify plumbing faults, hazards and emerging issues.
- Weekly water flow and temperature testing and adjustments.
- Weekly Reverse Osmosis (RO) system inspections, consumables checks and salt dosing.
- Repairs to tapware, leaks, valves, sanitary fixtures and pipework.
- Maintenance of toilets, drains, stormwater and roof plumbing systems.
- Maintain plant room inspection records and logs.
- Maintain agreed spare parts stock levels and report replenishment requirements.
- Respond to emergency plumbing breakdowns and prioritise clinical areas.
- Support operating theatres, ICU, imaging suites and other critical hospital environments.
- Perform general maintenance and handyman tasks where required.
- Complete electronic service reports, inspections and compliance documentation.
- Liaise professionally with hospital staff, facilities management and subcontractors.
- Participate in an after-hours on-call roster as required.
Required Qualifications
- NSW Plumbing Licence
- Strong experience in maintenance plumbing
- Ability to work independently and prioritise emergency works
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Current White Card
- Current Driver Licence
- Ability to obtain a Police Check
- Full Australian working rights
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements

- Backflow Prevention Accreditation
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
- Experience using electronic job management systems
