Carbonis Next Door is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Delicatessen and Café Attendant to join our vibrant team. Located in Ballarat East and Buninyong, we bring a slice of Italy to our community through our Traditional locally made and Imported products, warm and welcoming service and atmosphere.
Position:
Delicatessen and Café Attendant:
Part-Time (average 24 hours per week)
Casual (on demand)
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Preparing coffees, sandwich, gelato, shakes items and serving deli products.
- Taking payments.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the deli areas.
- Ensuring all food displays are attractive and stock is rotated.
Requirements:
- Must be available to work weekends (2-3 times a month on a rotating roster).
- for Part-Time must be available at least 3 days a week.
- Must be available from 7:30am and/or until 5:30pm.
- Must have previous experience in a café and/or delicatessen.
- Must be able to make quality coffee.
- Must have or be able to obtain RSA.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
