We're excited to welcome an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) – Endoscopy Reprocessing to our Endoscopy Team.

This is an chance for a suitably qualified AIN to work in various roles within the Endoscopy Procedure Suites that includes the reprocessing area and admission/discharge/holding bay areas. The AIN works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN)/Clinical Nurse (CN) to achieve best practice outcomes within our unit.

The Endoscopy Procedure Suites delivers a range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic services in a specialised, high-acuity clinical environment. The service provides care for elective and emergency patients, supporting procedures such as Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and other advanced interventions, while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, clinical excellence, and infection control.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) – State 2015 – Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 1, Band 2 and the Queensland Public Service values.
- Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.




- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast Health Values.

Salary rates: $37.92 - $40.25 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 1, Band 2) (part time position available, 24 hrs p.f.)
