About the Role

We are seeking a Packing Operator who can operate and maintain machinery in our Nowra Processing Plant.

Duties include but not limited to

Set up and startup of the filling and packing lines as required

Troubleshooting the line and carrying out line change overs

Strip down, washing and reassembling of lines

Ensure the lines are working to maximum efficiency

Monitor the quality of the product throughout the filling run and make appropriate adjustments to maintain quality and compliance

Be hands on and work on the line as required to support the team

Perform safety, quality and process checks

Continuous improvement with a key focus on safety and quality

Communicate effectively with other teams in all areas of the business

Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience





Prior experience in a processing plant or food processing environment

Dedicated to food safety and quality

Current Forklift licence and experience

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to foster relationships

Display a positive "can do, will do" attitude

Experience in packing and labelling machines

What You Should Know About Our Operations

Our business is widespread, growing walnuts and almonds in the Riverina Region in New South Wales, pecans in Moree andmacadamias, avocados and mangoes in Bundaberg, Queensland. In addition to fruit and nut growing, we also operate apiaries located in Temora, Nowra and Dubbo.

Off the paddock, we operatenut processing and packing facilities in Leeton, Toowoomba and Bundaberg as well as fruit packing and processing in Bundaberg and a honey packing facility in Nowra. In addition, our shared services teams (Finance, Sales, ESG, Safety and People & Culture) are located across all of our sites as well as the Brisbane, Melbourne and Griffith offices.
