ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Marketing Executive plays a critical role in delivering the destination marketing strategy for a leading mixed‑use precinct. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this position is responsible for driving engagement, visitation and brand awareness through the delivery of partnerships, collaborative campaigns, activations, events and public relations initiatives.
Working closely with tenants, tourism partners, agencies, stakeholders and community organisations, the role focuses on creating compelling destination experiences that strengthen the precinct's reputation as a vibrant place to visit, dine, shop, play and connect.
The Marketing Executive will provide hands‑on support across the marketing function while taking ownership of key projects that bring the precinct's annual marketing calendar to life.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, tourism organisations, industry partners, event organisers and community stakeholders.
- Identify and secure partnership opportunities that enhance visitation, awareness and customer engagement.
- Coordinate collaborative marketing initiatives that leverage partner investment and shared promotional opportunities.
- Act as a key point of contact for marketing participation opportunities across the precinct.
Events & Activations
- Plan, coordinate and deliver destination events,
seasonal campaigns, community activations and customer experiences.
- Manage activation timelines, budgets, suppliers, permits and operational requirements.
- Work with tenants and partners to maximise participation and commercial outcomes from events and campaigns.
- En Measure and report on event outcomes, attendance and engagement.

Public Relations & Communications
- Support the development and execution of public relations strategies alongside external PR agencies.
- Coordinate media opportunities, interviews, influencer visits, photo shoots and media events.
- Assist in the preparation of media releases, briefing documents, fact sheets and award submissions.
- Monitor media coverage and maintain accurate reporting of earned media outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to generate positive stories that promote the precinct and its businesses.
Marketing Campaign Support
- Support the Marketing Manager in delivering the annual marketing plan.
- Coordinate campaign assets, stakeholder approvals and campaign implementation across multiple channels.
- Assist with content planning and the collection of marketing materials from tenants and partners.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and aligned to brand standards.
- Conduct and compile campaign research, analysis and prepare dashboards/reports as requested by Senior Marketing Manager.
- Encourage and facilitate tenant participation in marketing campaigns, promotions and events.
- Identify opportunities to showcase businesses through precinct marketing channels.
- Assist in developing collaborative campaigns that drive mutual commercial outcomes.
- Build strong working relationships across the tenant community.
- Coordinate external agencies, contractors, event suppliers and creative partners.
- Prepare briefs and support the management of project deliverables.
- Ensure all suppliers meet agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.
Administration & Reporting
- Contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly marketing and asset reporting as directed by Senior Marketing Manager and General Manager, including gathering tenant and stakeholder feedback
- Maintain key marketing intel and registers including contact lists, asset registers, storage areas etc
- Update and review marketing standard operating produces bi‑annually
- Assist and/or back up concierge/office manager as required
- Administration of marketing fund financials and reporting
THE IDEAL PERSON FOR THIS ROLE
- 3 to 5 years' experience in marketing, events, public relations, destination marketing or related disciplines.
- Experience delivering events, activations and partnership campaigns.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with agencies, suppliers and external partners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience within retail, mixed‑use, tourism, hospitality, entertainment or destination marketing environments.
- Public relations and media relations experience.
- Understanding of social media and digital marketing channels.
- Experience managing budgets and project reporting.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Events or Business.
