Job Description

Full-time Activities Coordinator position available with competitive salary. Work in a dynamic team in Campsie, NSW 2194.

- Full-Time Activities Coordinator
- $79,000 – $90,000 p.a. plus superannuation
- Work in a professional allied health setting.

Position Overview: Integrated Fitness is an allied health and rehabilitation provider specialising in evidence-based exercise, therapeutic recreation and wellness programs designed by accredited Exercise Physiologists. The organisation supports NDIS participants, Workers Compensation clients, people living with diabetes and other chronic health conditions, helping clients improve their independence, participation and overall quality of life. As an Activities Coordinator, you will plan, coordinate and deliver therapeutic recreation and leisure programs that complement exercise physiology and rehabilitation services.

Working closely with the allied health team, you will support clients to achieve improved physical, psychological, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing through person-centred activities.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

- Plan, coordinate and implement therapeutic recreation and leisure programs that support rehabilitation, independence and quality of life for clients.
- Assess clients' interests, functional abilities, rehabilitation goals and support needs in collaboration with Exercise Physiologists and other allied health professionals.
- Develop individualised activity programs for NDIS participants, Workers Compensation clients, people living with diabetes and individuals managing chronic health conditions.




- Deliver individual and group therapeutic activities that promote physical, cognitive, psychological, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing.
- Modify activity programs according to clients' progress, mobility, health status and therapeutic goals.
- Monitor client participation, evaluate program outcomes and maintain accurate documentation and progress records.
- Encourage community participation, social engagement and confidence-building through structured recreational and wellness activities.
- Work collaboratively with Exercise Physiologists and the multidisciplinary team to ensure activity programs complement rehabilitation and exercise interventions.
- Prepare, organise and maintain therapeutic activity resources and ensure all activities comply with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, carers and external support providers to encourage ongoing participation and wellbeing.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Relevant qualification
- Minimum 1 year experience as an Activities Coordinator, Diversional Therapist or similar.
- Knowledge of person-centred therapeutic recreation and rehabilitation practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary allied health environment.
- Excellent communication, organisational and documentation skills.
- Understanding of NDIS, Workers Compensation and community-based rehabilitation services.
- Ability to adapt activities to suit clients with varying physical, cognitive and psychosocial support needs.

Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $79,000 to $90,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
