Ironbuilt Infrastructure is a growing civil construction contractor delivering infrastructure projects across NSW, including sewer pump stations, sewer rising mains, water infrastructure and major civil works.
We are currently seeking an Excavator Operator / Skilled Tradesman to support our civil infrastructure projects based in the Illawarra and across the NSW region.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable both operating machinery and assisting with civil construction activities on site.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating excavators for trenching and civil works
- Working safely around existing underground services and utilities
- Supporting civil construction and infrastructure installation
- Maintaining high-quality work standards and safe work areas
- Working closely with site supervisors and civil crews
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
- Formwork
- Plumbing Sydney Water accredited
- Civil infrastructure works
- Underground services installation
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience operating excavators on civil construction projects
- Experience trenching and working around underground services
- Robust attention to detail and safe work practices
- Driver's licence
- Ability to work effectively as part of a civil construction team
