Position Summary
The Manager, Partnerships & Operations (Events & Patrols) – Security is a senior leadership role responsible for managing client partnerships and overseeing the operational delivery of event security and mobile patrol services.
This role requires strong operational judgement, commercial discipline, and stakeholder management skills, with a particular focus on short-notice mobilisation, variable resourcing, compliance management, and high-visibility service delivery. The position works closely with the NOC, operations leadership, and clients to ensure protected, compliant, and commercially sound outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Client Partnerships & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the senior point of contact for assigned events and patrols clients, including councils, venues, promoters, and commercial partners.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with client representatives, event organisers, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Lead pre-event planning meetings, risk discussions, and service reviews.
- Support contract renewals, extensions, and ad-hoc service requests.
- Proactively identify growth opportunities within events, patrol routes, and seasonal demand.
Operational Oversight - Events & Patrols
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of event security and mobile patrol operations.
- Ensure effective mobilisation of staff, equipment, and supervision for scheduled and short-notice events.
- Provide leadership to Event Supervisors, Patrol Supervisors, and operational teams.
- Work closely with the NOC to ensure real-time coordination, escalation handling, and incident response.
- Ensure patrol routes, response times, and coverage levels meet contractual and risk requirements.
- Support operational readiness for high-risk, high-profile, or large-scale events.
WHS, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with WHS, licensing, security, and client requirements.
- Manage risk assessments, operational plans, and staff compliance.
- Investigate incidents, monitor trends, and implement improvements.
People Leadership & Capability Development
- Lead and develop operational teams to deliver safe, professional, and high-quality service.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, compliance, and performance of event and patrol personnel.
- Ensure workforce capability, safety standards, fatigue management, and operational readiness.
- Promote a strong safety culture, professional conduct, and continuous team improvement.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare and present operational and client performance reports.
- Track KPIs including incident rates, response times, staffing fulfilment, and client satisfaction.
- Identify and implement improvements to mobilisation processes, patrol efficiency, and event delivery models.
- Contribute to strategic planning and service innovation initiatives across Allied Security Management.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in security operations, events security, patrol services, or complex service delivery roles.
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale or high-risk events and/or mobile patrol operations.
- Strong understanding of crowd management, event risk planning, and patrol logistics.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and commercial outcomes.
- Current NSW Security Licence (Class 1A - essential).
- Qualifications in security management, WHS, or event management (desirable).

- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple concurrent operations.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public events.
- Valid Driver's Licence and flexibility to travel as required
