What You Need:
- Certificate III Horticulture or Certificate II Arboriculture (with tree experience)
- Current MR Class Driver's License (Medium Rigid)
- White Card - Building and Construction Industry Certification
- Level 1 Operate and Maintain Chainsaw certification
- Chainsaw Fall Trees Manually (Intermediate) accreditation
What You'll Do:
- Field Operations: Perform ground-based pruning, tree removals, mulching, and planting in road reserves and parks.
- Equipment Management: Safely operate and maintain a range of industry tools and fleet items up to 15t GVM.
- Park Stewardship: Inspect sites for hazards like sharps or vandalism and ensure areas are left clean and safe for the public.
- Technical Applications: Prepare and apply pesticide, herbicide, and fungicide formulations to manage pests and diseases.
