Subacute, Ambulatory and Community Services (SACS) is dedicated to delivering connected, patient-centred care beyond the hospital setting. By supporting integrated models of care, SACS helps people access the right care at the right time through community-based services, seamless discharge planning and solid partnerships across the health system.
Behind the scenes, the SACS Business Services Unit keeps these vital services running by providing essential corporate support, including administration, records and information management, purchasing, fleet and facilities management. Every day, the team plays a key role in ensuring clinicians can focus on delivering exceptional care.
About the role:
- Coordinate essential business support services, including purchasing, fleet, facilities and maintenance activities to keep community health services running smoothly.
- Provide high-quality administrative support, including correspondence, reports,
meeting coordination, travel arrangements and day-to-day office operations.
- Manage procurement and financial processes using S/4HANA, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, maintaining stock and supporting vendor management.
- Build strong relationships with staff, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver responsive customer service and achieve operational outcomes.
- Ensure compliance and accuracy by following Queensland Health policies, maintaining records, using corporate systems effectively and supporting effective business operations.
About you:
- Proven administrative experience, with strong knowledge of procurement, purchasing and accounts payable processes.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Solid communication and relationship-building skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Confidence using digital systems, including Microsoft Office and 365 applications, along with finance, procurement and health information systems.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $89,768 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $40.17 - $44.67 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
