About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our friendly and growing team in Newstead.
This is a full-time position working approximately 38 hours over four days (Tuesday to Friday), giving you every Monday off. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials prior to patient appointments.
- Experience assisting with implants, fillings, root canal treatment, crowns, bridges, extractions, and cosmetic dental procedures.
- Ability to anticipate clinicians' needs and work efficiently during complex and surgical procedures.
- Experience with digital imaging, impression taking, and maintaining accurate clinical records (preferred)
- Maintain exceptional sterilisation and infection control standards in accordance with current guidelines.
- Accurately update and manage patient records using practice management software.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Dental Assistant.
- Experience using EXACT dental software (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
- A professional presentation and a genuine passion for providing exceptional patient care.
- A reliable, proactive, and positive attitude with the ability to work well within a close‑knit team.
