Asphalt Plant Operator - Downer Bathurst
Love big machines, night shifts, and hitting the road?
We're looking for our next Asphalt Plant Operator to join the crew in Bathurst. No experience? No worries. If you've got a solid work ethic, a good attitude, and don't mind getting your hands dirty, we'll teach you the rest.
Hourly rate: is $38.46 plus overtime rates would apply as well as travel.
What you'll be doing
- Operating and assisting at the asphalt plant
- Learning how asphalt production works from the ground up
- Supporting road crews and plant operations
- Working across day shifts, night shifts, and weekends
- Travelling where the work is - sometimes local, sometimes away
- Keeping safety front and centre while getting the job done
What we're looking for
- Reliable and ready to work
- Comfortable working flexible hours
- Able to work days, nights, and weekends
- Willing to travel when required
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Mechanically minded? Even better
- No experience required - full training provided
