The opportunityto work for an established law firm with offices in Newcastle and on the Central Coast, with a reputation for achieving exceptional outcomes. We are now looking for a current team member with a minimum of 2 years PAE in criminal law.

This role will be based at Newcastle, NSW, 2300.

You will become an integral part of the Fourtree Lawyers Criminal Law team, and will represent clients in:

- Local, District, Supreme Court, and CCA matters
- Instructing Counsel in District and Supreme Court EAGP trials
- Complex Crime & High Profile cases
- Initial consultations and provision of sound legal advice
- Sentence matters, AVO matters, defended hearings, DC appeals
- S.14 Mental Health Applications
- Release Applications and Show Cause Bail
- Negotiations with the DPP and police prosecutors
- Submissions, representations, and agreed facts
