We are looking for a Factory Supervisor to join our growing business. Suitable candidate will be self-motivated, adaptive and enthusiastic who is willing to learn and add value to our growing business.
Job duties
- Review and understand the assigned schedule.
- Oversee the production and scheduling.
- Supervise a team of 20 workers within the factory workplace
- Prepare and complete the require paperwork necessary by the business
- Move material between workstations to ensure continuity of workflow
- Drive and motivate work teams to maximise productivity
- Maintain safe work practices (OHS) whilst maintaining productivity goals.
- Display strong communication skills back to the production manager, as required.
- Provide input and assistance for production scheduling
- Responsible for ensuring quality checks and control processes are followed
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
- Proven experience in supervising small factory teams
- Proven experience in the manufacturing industry
- High attention to detail - an eye for quality
- Some Experience in quality systems, standards will be advantageous
- Willing to learn and self-motivated
- Experience in automatic spray coating is desirable
- Understanding of 2 pack paint system - Highly desired
- MUST have valid Visa to work in Australia
- Forklift license and driver license (must)
