RediMed is an end-to-end Occupational Healthcare service supporting businesses and their workers. We aim to ensure all workers go home to their loved ones safe and well every night! We do this by offering a full range of health services, including:

- Pre-Employment Medicals
- Health Surveillance and Monitoring
- Injury Treatment
- Rapid Medical Intervention (including surgery)
- Drug and Alcohol Testing

Our teams are multidisciplinary with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership to ensure that our customers receive the best care possible.

The Role

The Medical Practitioner will complete pre-employment medicals (including coal board medicals) and provide medical management for workplace injuries. Our new medical practitioner will be provided with:

You will be required to hold:

- Full unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
- Ideally, an Examining Medical Officer (Coal Board Medical) qualification (or a willingness to complete this training).
- Medical Indemnity insurance.
- Valid National Police Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide high-quality occupational healthcare services to workers in keeping with best practice standards.
- Assess potential workers before they commence employment. This includes verifying their medical history and conducting a basic medical examination following a standard template. A risk assessment is completed, and recommendations are provided to the employer regarding the potential workers’ suitability for the proposed role.
- Medically manage workplace injuries to ensure return-to-work outcomes are achieved effectively and efficiently.
