In conjunction with the Executive the Fundraising Manager will:
- Research and identify potential funding opportunities that align with QAM priorities.
- Develop an overall funding strategy for QAM including community engagement, sponsorship, donor relationships, workplace giving, bequests, philanthropic and trust opportunities etc.
- Identify, develop, and implement campaigns to raise funds for specific projects within the QAM.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive and compelling funding proposals.
- Manage funding reporting, tracking and compliance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with grantors and funding agencies.
- Work cross functionally with other Managers across the QAM to develop and manage a calendar of projects/items requiring funding.
- Monitor grant expenditure to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Acquit each grant within the deadline and budget, ensure that it accurately reflects the respective grant submission
- Maintain detailed records of all grant data.
- Provide accurate and timely updates to the Executive and General Council regarding fundraising activities.
