About the Role:

As our Mount Thorley yard as your home base; as our Field Service Diesel Fitter you will be on the road and working at different sites across the Hunter Valley region.

We value an individual who wishes to work autonomously but be a key support to our site maintenance team & clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Conducting maintenance on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems of heavy equipment
- Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting mechanical issues in a timely manner
- Repairing and replacing faulty parts as necessary
- Performing scheduled servicing & repairs on equipment to prevent unexpected downtime
- Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with industry regulations

About You:

You will demonstrate solid technical skills across maintenance, breakdowns, and equipment servicing with the ability to think on your feet and accurately diagnosis what you are presented with.

The right candidate will be self-driven, disciplined,



eager to demonstrate a safety-first mindset and take pride in their work. You will be able to communicate confidently and manage your own schedule to ensure efficiencies.

We anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:

- Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- Established experience working on CAT equipment and familiarity with CAT diagnostic systems (highly desirable)
- White card / general construction induction.
- A current Order 43/45 medical (highly desirable but not essential).
- Ability to carry out performance testing and adjustments after repairs.
- Current & valid Driver's Licence
- Ability to be responsive & prepared to travel to multiple sites as required.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
- RII Certified: EWP, Working at Heights, and Light Vehicle/Equipment Testing & Operations (highly desirable but not essential).
