This is a unique prospect for an experienced Grounds person to join our team based on site at Runcorn. The role oversees the overall care of the numerous sports fields that cater for a number of different sports including cricket, soccer and rugby - they love to have their sports fields looking pristine all year round as playing sport is an important part of supporting student life. Responsibilities
- Assist with garden maintenance tasks such as hedging, weeding, pruning, planting, mulching and garden enhancement. Operate hand tools such as hedgers, blowers and whipper snippers and petrol gear such as push mowers and ride on plant equipment safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced team members. Operate and maintain specialised equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with other teams to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritise tasks, and deliver exceptional results. Communicate effectively with the client to understand their expectations, address concerns, and provide care and upkeep recommendations.
