We're looking for an experienced Gardener to maintain the beautifully landscaped gardens of
aged care communities across Sydney. This is more than just a gardening role-this is your work will create safe, welcoming outdoor spaces that residents enjoy every day. If you're someone who takes pride in your work, enjoys working autonomously, and is happy to stop for a friendly chat with residents, you'll fit right in.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining beautifully presented gardens and outdoor spaces at premium aged care communities across Sydney and surrounding suburbs. Work is primarily located throughout the CBD, Eastern Suburbs, the Northern and Southern Beaches, and surrounding areas within approximately 30 minutes of the CBD.

This is an autonomous role where you'll often run your own ship, working independently or as part of a small crew. You'll be trusted to manage your day, take ownership of your sites, and consistently deliver gardens that residents and staff can be proud of.

As you'll regularly interact with residents and site staff, we're looking for someone who is friendly, well-presented, respectful and enjoys building positive relationships with people. A warm smile and willingness to stop for a quick chat are just as important as having a great eye for detail in the garden.

Enjoy flexible working hours with the option of 7:00am-3:00pm or 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Duties Include

- General garden and landscape maintenance

- Lawn mowing, edging and brushcutting

- Hedge trimming and pruning





- Planting, mulching and garden bed maintenance

- Weed control and herbicide application

- Operating a 15kg knapsack sprayer

- Maintaining lawns, gardens and outdoor communal areas to a high standard

- Working outdoors in all weather conditions

What We’re Looking For

- Previous gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance experience

- No formal qualification required-experience is what matters

- Current White Card

- Current full driver's licence with a good driving record (essential)

- Physically fit and capable of manual outdoor work

- Comfortable working independently as well as in a small crew

- Friendly, skilled and confident interacting with elderly residents, visitors and site staff

- Reliable, self-motivated and takes genuine pride in producing quality work
