CHE QLD is seeking for a highly qualified and experienced PAINTERS to join their team of professionals on a full time and permanent basis. The role includes but is not limited to: Understand surface preparation and finishes.
Be able to understand and complete works to specifications. Be able to mix to correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc. Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness. Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces. Erecting scaffolding and ladders.
Cleaning equipment and work areas. Able to blast trailers and trucks Be able to paint two packs of paint on trucks and trailers.
Desirable traits and will highly be regarded: Trade Certificate –Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent (for Blaster/Painters) Construction Induction (White or Blue Card)
High Risk Licence for EWP and/or Forklift Trade Qualifications in Protective Coatings (ACA, NACE, ICorr, or other trade certs) Drivers Licence (MR or HR class)
Salary: Between $79,499 and $82,000 per annum + Super
