About the role
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team on a full-time basis, based in Newington NSW 2127. This is a strategic position that will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of atm cleaning management pty ltd. As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing innovative strategies to penetrate new markets. This role offers significant scope to influence the company's trajectory and contribute to its continued success in the competitive ATM services sector.
Key responsibilities
Identify, evaluate and pursue new business opportunities within the financial services, retail and hospitality sectors to expand the company's client base
Develop and implement strategic business development plans that align with company objectives and market conditions
Build and maintain robust relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective and existing client organisations
Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs and pain points
Negotiate contracts and terms with new clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and delivery of service commitments
Monitor and report on business development activities, pipeline status and conversion metrics
Attend industry events, trade shows and networking functions to generate leads and build brand awareness
Contribute to the development of marketing materials and promotional strategies
What we're looking for
Proven track record of success in new business development or sales roles within a service-based industry
Strong understanding of the commercial services, facilities management or related sectors
Demonstrated ability to identify and close new business opportunities
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinking ability with the capacity to develop and execute business development plans
Self-motivated, energetic and results-oriented approach to achieving targets and objectives
Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Willingness to travel within NSW and potentially interstate as required
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
Experience in the cleaning, facilities management services sectors is highly desirable
Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or related field is advantageous
