As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our leadership team.

Operations Manager | Demolition & Civil
About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of multiple demolition and civil projects across NSW.
Working closely with our Project Managers, Site Supervisors and Administration Team, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard while maintaining exceptional client relationships.
This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational delivery of multiple demolition, asbestos, remediation and civil construction projects.
- Manage project programmes, budgets, resources and timelines to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate labour, plant, subcontractors and suppliers across multiple projects.
- Review project costs, identify efficiencies and maximise project profitability.
- Prepare project methodologies, scopes of work, programmes and procurement schedules.
- Manage procurement,
purchase orders and supplier relationships.
- Monitor project forecasting, monthly invoicing and financial performance.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, productivity and compliance.
- Provide leadership, mentoring and support to Site Supervisors and project teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Ensure projects comply with WHS legislation, environmental requirements and company procedures.
- Prepare and review SWMS, risk assessments, demolition documentation and project-specific safety plans.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings and site audits.
- Resolve operational issues quickly while maintaining project momentum.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, productivity and overall business performance.
About You
You are an experienced construction professional who enjoys leading people and delivering successful projects.
You have excellent organisational skills, strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional standards of safety and quality.
You are confident making decisions, solving problems and taking ownership.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in an Operations Manager, Project Manager or Senior Supervisor role.
- Extensive demolition industry experience (essential).
- Civil construction experience.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of demolition methodologies and sequencing.
- Excellent understanding of WHS legislation, Australian Standards and Building Codes.
- Strong financial and commercial management skills.
- Experience managing project budgets, procurement and forecasting.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills.
- High level computer skills including Microsoft Office and project management software.
- A proactive attitude with excellent planning and problem-solving abilities.
Essential Requirements
- White Card
- Current Driver Licence
- Demolition industry experience
- Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening if required
