Forage Gourmet Edibles is a family owned commercial hydroponic farm based at Mangrove Mountain on the NSW Central Coast. For over 13 years we've been growing premium edible flowers, baby leaf and salad mixes supplied to leading chefs, wholesalers and fresh produce markets throughout NSW and Queensland.

We're looking for a motivated and reliable Farm Hand who wants to build a long term career with our business. You'll receive ongoing training and mentoring with a genuine opportunity to progress into a 2IC role as your knowledge, skills and confidence develop.

About the Role

Working alongside the Farm Owner, you'll gain experience across every aspect of our operation, including:

- Working in our packing shed and cool room, accurately picking, packing and preparing customer orders while maintaining our high quality standards and meeting daily dispatch deadlines

- Seeding, pulling, planting and crop maintenance

- Monitoring hydroponic and irrigation systems

- Maintaining quality control and food safety standards

- General farm maintenance and cleanliness

- Assisting with training and supporting other team members as your experience grows

This is a hands on role where you'll gradually take on more responsibility, with the goal of becoming the Farm Owners Second in Charge (2IC).

About You

We're looking for someone who:

- Has experience working on a commercial farm, nursery or horticultural business

- Is reliable,



hardworking and eager to learn

- Wants to develop into a leadership role

- Has excellent attention to detail

- Enjoys working outdoors in a physically active role

- Takes pride in producing high quality work

- Has positive communication skills and enjoys working as part of a small team

- Has a reliable vehicle and a current Australian driver's licence, as our farm is located in a rural area with no public transport

Desirable

- Experience in hydroponics or production horticulture

- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one)

- Chemical Accreditation (AQF3) or willingness to undertake training

- First Aid Certificate
