Casual, with Part time considered for experienced applicants | SCHADS Level 2.1–3.1 | $45.28–$51 p/h + Super + Penalties

Talent Hub Australia is recruiting on behalf of our client, a service provider supporting young people across the Ipswich region. We're looking for experienced Youth Workers to provide safe, consistent, trauma-informed support to young people in a residential setting.

What you'll be doing:

- Providing day-to-day support to young people in a residential setting
- Delivering trauma-informed, person-centred support in line with individual care plans
- Supporting daily routines, education engagement, and community participation
- Managing behaviours of concern using trauma-informed, de-escalation-based approaches
- Working rotating shifts including evenings, weekends and sleepovers
- Maintaining accurate case notes, incident reports, and shift handovers
- Working collaboratively with the broader care team

What you’ll need (essential):





- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check), or eligibility to obtain one
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Experience working with young people in a residential, out-of-home-care, disability, or related trauma-informed setting
- Availability for a rotating roster including sleepovers
- Certificate IV in Youth Work, Community Services, or related field
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training or similar
