We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead one of our Brisbane stores. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven retail leader who is passionate about developing teams, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and driving strong commercial outcomes.

As Retail Manager, you will take ownership of store performance, lead a dedicated team, and play a key role in creating a positive, customer‑focused environment. We're looking for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands‑on leadership and who thrives in a quick‑paced retail environment.

About the Role

You will oversee store operations, inventory management, merchandising, team development, and customer experience while ensuring sales and profitability targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People Development

- Lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing retail team
- Recruit, onboard and train new team members
- Foster a positive team culture built on accountability, collaboration and service
- Provide coaching, feedback and ongoing development opportunities
- Manage team rosters and labour budgets

Store Operations & Inventory

- Oversee stock ordering and inventory management
- Maintain strong stock availability and inventory accuracy
- Coordinate stocktakes and manage stock control processes
- Build and maintain positive supplier relationships




- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and store standards

Sales, Merchandising & Performance

- Drive sales growth and overall store performance
- Execute promotional campaigns and seasonal activities
- Maintain high merchandising and presentation standards
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support initiatives that enhance customer engagement and loyalty

Customer Experience

- Deliver exceptional customer service and lead by example
- Build strong relationships with customers and the local community
- Support customers with product knowledge and recommendations
- Create a welcoming and positive in‑store experience

About You

You are an experienced retail leader who enjoys developing people, improving performance, and taking ownership of results.

You will ideally bring:

- Previous experience as a Retail Manager, Store Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong retail operations and inventory management experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop teams
- Sound commercial acumen and understanding of retail business
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and solutions‑focused leadership style
- A genuine passion for customer service

Desirable Experience

- Health food, wellness or specialty retail
- Grocery or FMCG retail environments
- Vitamins, supplements or natural health products
- Multi‑department retail operations
