Huff Group is looking for a motivated Junior Electrical Estimator to join our growing pre-construction team in our modern Maroochydore office.

About the Role
Working alongside our Senior Estimators and Leadership Team, you'll assist in preparing accurate and competitive tenders for commercial electrical projects throughout South East Queensland.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with electrical estimates and tender submissions
- Completing quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Preparing material and labour costings
- Requesting supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Reviewing plans and project documentation
- Assisting with budgeting and project planning
- Maintaining estimating databases and project records
- Supporting the handover of successful tenders to the Project Management team
- Learning estimating software and industry best practices
This is a hands-on learning role with structured mentoring and ongoing support.
About You
We're looking for someone who is motivated, eager to learn, and enjoys solving problems.
Ideally, you will have:
- Electrical trade qualification (preferred) or experience within the electrical industry
- Some estimating experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Strong computer skills and willingness to learn estimating software
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Current driver's licence
Most importantly, you'll have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a desire to build a long-term career.
