About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an Operations Manager to oversee the operational performance of a high-performing retail property portfolio. Responsible for ensuring the assets remain secure, compliant and efficiently managed, you will play a key role in maintaining asset performance and delivering an exceptional experience for retailers and customers. Combining facilities management, contractor management, budgeting, compliance and project delivery, this role offers excellent scope for an established Operations Manager or a high-performing Assistant Operations Manager or Assistant Facilities Manager looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of retail assets, ensuring high standards of presentation, safety and compliance.
- Manage facilities services, maintenance programs, contractors and essential services compliance.
- Monitor and manage operational budgets, including OPEX and CAPEX expenditure.
- Deliver capital works, refurbishments and asset improvement projects from planning through to completion.
- Drive workplace health, safety,



risk and environmental initiatives across the assets.
- Build strong relationships with retailers, contractors and stakeholders to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Skills and experience required for this role

- Experience in Operations, Facilities or Property Management within retail, commercial or mixed-use property environments.
- Strong understanding of building services, contractor management, compliance and asset operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing maintenance programs, service providers and operational budgets.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships with retailers, contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and hands‑on approach.
