We are seeking a talented and experienced CNC/Edgebander Machine Operator to join our team at Interex Pty Ltd, located in Prestons, NSW. As a full time CNC/Edgebander Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient and high-quality operation of our CNC and edgebanding machines, playing a crucial role in the production of our joinery.

What you'll be doing

- Operate and maintain CNC and edgebanding machines to produce high-quality components and finished products
- Set up and program CNC machines to ensure precise cutting and shaping of materials
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise, performing minor maintenance as required
- Ensure all produced parts and components meet the required specifications and quality standards
- Work closely with the production team to optimise workflow and efficiency




- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocols

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2 years of experience in operating CNC and edgebanding machines in a production environment
- Excellent understanding of CNC programming and machine settings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality work
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
