This is an prospect to play a key role in shaping the future of financial crime prevention. Working across AML/CTF, fraud, and scam prevention initiatives, you'll help translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business and technology solutions that strengthen controls and improve customer outcomes.
You’ll partner with stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, Financial Crime, Technology, and Operations to deliver strategic initiatives and support the ongoing evolution of the organisation's financial crime framework.
Responsibilities include
- Lead business analysis activities for regulatory and financial crime initiatives, with a particular focus on AML/CTF reform and scam prevention outcomes
- Assess the impact of regulatory change and determine what modifications are required across processes, controls, systems, and operating models
- Support the development and enhancement of financial crime frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures
- Document business requirements and ensure regulatory obligations can be traced through to implemented controls and solutions
- Facilitate workshops that bring together business, risk, compliance, and technology stakeholders to define future-state solutions
- Review existing workflows and identify opportunities to strengthen customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, fraud detection, and scam prevention processes
- Support the design and optimisation of operational processes used to detect, investigate, and manage financial crime risks
- Lead testing activities and ensure solutions are implemented effectively, with appropriate controls and governance in place
- Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives that enhance customer protection and support regulatory compliance
What sets you up for success
- Significant Business Analysis experience within financial services, including delivery of regulatory, risk, business transformation, or technology initiatives that impact processes, controls, and systems
- Strong understanding of financial crime environments, with experience supporting AML/CTF, fraud, scam prevention, customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, or related control functions
- Ability to identify connections and dependencies across operational processes, technology solutions, regulatory obligations, and risk frameworks
- Experience translating complex regulatory requirements into clear business requirements and practical implementation outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build alignment across business, risk, compliance, operations, and technology teams
- Proven capability facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, and guiding stakeholders through complex decisions
- Sound judgement when assessing risk, business impact, regulatory obligations, customer outcomes, and implementation considerations
- Ability to manage competing priorities, balance multiple workstreams, and maintain delivery momentum in a complex environment
- Strong analytical capability, including process analysis, future-state design, impact assessment, and problem solving
- Experience supporting testing, implementation, and change activities to ensure solutions are effectively embedded and deliver intended outcomes
