Keith Engineering Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Fitter, we are a growing company servicing the rendering industry with our machine shop producing new and replacement parts for the rendering plant machinery we manufacture on site. We have a modern workshop comprising a machine shop and a fabrication shop with a dedicated fitting assembly section.
Minimum of 3-5 years fitting experience is required for this position.
We are ultimately looking for a Fitter able to assemble our new machinery and also service our machine rework of existing used equipment
Job tasks & responsibilities of the Role
- Ability to read, comprehend and apply engineering drawings
- High level communications and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Assembly of bearings, V belt assemblies,
motor mounting and general machine assembly/disassembly
- Strip down, fault find, measure and report on used equipment through our reconditioning service
- High level record keeping
- Knowledge of manual lathe and mill operation an advantage.
- Ability and willingness to further their knowledge and skills with additional training
