Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years preferred; new graduates are welcome if passionate about aged care Role Overview: We’re seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist who’s excited about making a difference in the lives of older adults.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan and implement physiotherapy programs for older adults in residential/community aged-care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, occupational therapy and podiatry
- Monitor client progress and adapt interventions accordingly
- Promote best-practice aged-care therapy and support accreditation requirements
- Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions
What We’re Looking
- For: Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and current General AHPRA registration
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience—preferably in aged care or allied health settings
- New graduates who are enthusiastic about aged-care are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal aptitude and a genuine interest in elderly wellbeing
- Willingness to work Monday to Friday, and uphold high standards of therapy service delivery
